Dr. Kurra was born in India; she graduated with her masters from Guntur Medical College in 1989. Afterwards she began an internship with the Government General Hospital in Guntur, A.P. India. She did her rescidency training at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, Flushing, NY. In 1997 she began practicing in Odessa, Tx at the Permian Women's Center. Her professional memberships include: American College of Internal Medicine, ACP American College of Physicians, and the American Medical Association.
Born in India Dr. Raja graduated from the Kurnool Medical College in Kurnool, India with a Masters of Science in Ear, Nose, and Throat Disease. He is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a Fellow of American College of Obestrics and Gynecology, and a Fellow of American Surgery. Dr. Raja did his residency in obstetrics at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, Flushing, NY. He has delivered over 6,000 babies, a number unprecedented by any previous physician in the Permian Basin. For the last two years, Dr. Raja has brought cutting edge technology in both overactive bladder treatment and robotic surgery. He is the Director of the Regional Incontinence Center and Permian Women's Center. Some of his honors and awards include: (1993) Berlex National Foundation Award, (1995) Best Resident in Laparoscopic Surgery Award, (1995) CREOG Best Teaching Attending Award, (2001) Best Teaching Award-Texas Tech University, (2007) Excellence in Community Science/Health & Science, (2011) Outstanding Community Physician Award, (2012) OB/GYN Odessa Heritage Award. He is the Board Chairman of Basin Health Care and belongs to the following: Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, Texas Medical Association, ACOG, American Urogunerologic Society, American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, Texas Medical Association Alliance and the International College of Surgeons - USA section.
Lynette received her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2002. She served many years at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and began working at the Permian Women's Center in 2004 as Nurse Practitioner. Her professional societies include: Society of Clincal Research Associates, Texas Department of Health Breastfeeding Educator, Women's Health Care Nurse Practioner, and NCC Certification in Reproductive Endrocinology and Infertility.
